Years ago a friend challenged me to join Toastmasters to learn how to speak in public. I was horrified, but knew if I said no, he would never let me forget it. He’s now a Vice President of a national insurance company and I get to speak to local groups about stuff that makes me happy!

I’ve done presentations at Mid-Continent Public Library for over 15 years. Check out their website for upcoming classes. I’ve also done presentations for our local ReStore, Central Exchange, Realtors’ groups, and a variety of other community groups.

I wanted to comment on the classes you presented at North Oak Library. I love both classes and have put to use several of the tips on using containers and baskets for storage. I moved a giant wreath a friend made for me to another wall in the living room for the focal point you spoke about and had several compliments on it even though it has been in the room on the other wall and they have been here previously. I liked your idea of accessories for color and seasonal changes. The classes were great and a real inspiration for me!!
